But wait! I have good news! I baked a cake, a real cake from scratch. And if I do say so it looks delicious. It's a Buttermilk Spice cake with Vanilla Creme frosting, also from scratch. Pre-cuttage picture below.
Where I talk about my knitting, crochet, and anything else that pops in my head as I type. Patterns, Progress, and Cookies...who could ask for more?

Sweater and a Cake
So I finally started work on my Weasley sweater this week (I'm making Fred's, just so you know...), almost done with the back. Only another 5" or so until I get to cast off, considering I started this on Saturday morning, I'm doing amazing. Sam has graciously agreed to make my scarf for me (*cough*christmaspresent*cough*), and Mary still hasn't given me yarn for her vest.

Update: Back of sweater is done, front almost at colorwork stage.

So, was the cake edible? :P I updated my blog too, just so you know and I just noticed that my blogs are waaaay longer than yours... Do you think I might ramble a bit? Oh yeah, and I think I decided that I'm going to wait and see how your Weasley Sweater turns out and how long my scarves take me before I decide if I want you to make my Weasley sweater too. I might even make a vest still.. grr.. I'm so indecisive... And wha'd'you know! Even my comment is long and rambling!
The cake is not only edibible but delicious. Again, my sweater has stalled but it's mostly my fault so I'll just have to get over it. MAKE A DECISION ALREADY!
