Ok, I have come to realize that I have comittment issues. I am almost done with the fall exchange project, but decided to work on my Ren Faire costume instead. And since it is 100% hand sewing....it could be a while before I return to the exchange. (I'm determined to be on time, unlike some people I could mention....)
I also have pieces for a bag I'm doing cut out, but I haven't gotten around to making that either. I'm so bad.
Good news is, that after a week of battleing a cold I am finally getting better.
Where I talk about my knitting, crochet, and anything else that pops in my head as I type. Patterns, Progress, and Cookies...who could ask for more?

Fall Exchange
Could it be? Two posts in as many days? Yeah, it is.
With September fast approaching, I started my fall exchange project today. I really love the color and the pattern is challenging enough that I don't feel like I am doing brainless work. It has a very pretty lace pattern, that should look really cool with Sam's Renaissance costume. Too bad I can't post pictures until after the faire...

Many Apologies
I am deeply ashamed of myself. It has been over a year since my last post. In my defense, I haven't done much knitting. Or much finishing. I have all of these ideas, but nothing happens. I think that it is just too hot right now. So to my readers (Sam this means you), I can offer nothing by my almost sincere apologies.
I have been thinking though. I know dangerous right? At least it wasn't in the shower! (Family joke, I apologize again) Last Christmas my dad got Julie and Julia as a present. What if we did something like that? Not a project a day, (would be fun but my sanity and wallet would both desert me) but a project a week, or more realistically a month. I don't know if anyone would be interested, but it could be fun.
So I just started yet another project, just a little bag either for sale or for gifting. Just something to keep my hands busy. Can't decide if I want to use the cable pattern that has been kicking around in my head or just do a crochet pattern. I'll probably end up scrapping it anyway. In fact, I just did. I'm so horrible.
If anyone other than Sam is reading this, please let me know. It gets kinda lonely out here in cyber space.
